Cancers near electric transmission lines have been related to lifting Cadmium plating off the supporting plated towers. Those particles will be tiny and oxidized on their surface. US government CTD has 4,065 entries and thousands of references to diseases caused by Cadmium, linked to hundreds of genes. I won't eat Cd concentrators like oysters.
